Community & Event Guidelines
The ITRADE Innovation Network is a community where STEM professionals meet, learn from each other, and create real opportunity together. These guidelines keep it a place worth coming back to. They apply at every event, in every channel, and in every introduction we make. They are part of our Terms of Use.
Who's in the room
The Network is for members and approved partners. Everyone here chose to be here and was welcomed in. Partners join as peers in the conversation, and their seat comes with the same expectations as everyone else's.
How we treat each other
- Lead with generosity. Share what you know, make the introduction, answer the question.
- Respect every seat. Treat people with courtesy across titles, backgrounds, companies, and points of view.
- Keep it relationship-first. Offer help before you ask for it. Business grows here through trust, at the speed of trust.
- Ask before you follow up. Connect with people who welcome the connection, and honor it when someone declines.
- Use contact details for the connection they were shared for. A number from the WhatsApp group is for conversation with that person, and stays off lists and sequences.
What stays in the room
Executive Tables and Circle discussions run on a simple rule: take the insight, leave the name. Use what you learn, and keep who said it, and where they work, private unless they tell you otherwise.
Our channels
- WhatsApp is where the community talks. Daily rhythm: Monday Signal, Tuesday Question, Wednesday Spotlight, Thursday Resource, Friday Review.
- Telegram carries announcements. It opens to comments once the community is large enough.
- Roam is our virtual venue, the ITRADE On-Air Virtual Theater.
In group channels, members can see each other's names and numbers. Keep posts useful to the group, share opportunities openly, and take one-to-one conversations to a direct message once the other person welcomes it.
Photos and recording
- Industry Nights, Working Sessions, and Build Labs may be photographed and recorded. The event listing tells you in advance.
- Executive Tables stay photo-free and unrecorded.
- Virtual sessions announce recording at the start.
Prefer to stay out of photos? Tell a host at check-in or pick up the opt-out marker at the door. Want an image taken down later? Email info@itradeinnovations.com and we'll remove it.
At the venue
We gather at partner venues such as the Tower Club. Follow the venue's dress code and house rules, drink responsibly, and look out for each other. Hosts are there to help, so find one if anything feels off.
Partners
Our partners help make the Network possible. We hold one partner per category, per series, and every speaker is chosen independently. Partners connect with attendees who choose to connect with them, and attendee information stays with ITRADE.
Referrals
The best members bring the next ones. Refer someone who belongs here and you may earn a thank-you and a mention in the Dispatch, VIP access to an Executive Briefing, or a nomination for Circle leadership.
If something goes wrong
Tell a host at the event or email info@itradeinnovations.com. We review every report and keep it confidential. To protect the community, ITRADE may remove messages, ask someone to leave an event, or end access to channels and membership.
